Rediscover Wellness, LLC offers these Terms of Service ("Terms") to outline the rules and regulations for using our health coaching services. By accessing or using our services, you agree to these Terms. If you disagree with any part of these Terms, please refrain from using our services.

Services and Scope

Rediscover Wellness, LLC provides health coaching services that focuses on nourishing, supporting and empowering individuals to reach their distinct health and wellness objectives. Our coaching sessions offer personalized guidance, aiming to establish realistic goals that contribute to a sustainable, long-term, and desired state of well-being.

A health coaching setting works to provide key elements that foster successful changes to individuals’ well-being. These elements include:

Collaborative Goal Setting: health goals are collaboratively crafted, with personalized action plans in place to ensure ongoing motivation.
Wellness Education: coaching clients receive evidence-based insights on wellness topics, empowering them to make informed decisions about their health.
Client-Centered Approach: health coaching is tailored to individual needs, respecting all values, preferences, and backgrounds.
Behavior Change Support: tools and skills are utilized to help overcome obstacles and facilitate positive and sustainable behavior changes.
Accountability and Progress Tracking: health coaches work alongside clients, assisting them in adhering to their goals, tracking progress, and identifying any helpful tools for achieving success.
Scope and Referral: unless qualified to do so, health coaching refrains from providing any medical diagnoses, prescriptions, or treatments; in cases where it may be necessary, clients can be referred to a healthcare professional who can diagnose, prescribe, and treat.
Confidentiality: the privacy of clients is strictly maintained in accordance with ethical and legal standards.
Continuing Education: health coaches actively promote best practices through ongoing education on a variety of health topics.

Client Responsibilities and Code of Conduct

All participants in Rediscover Wellness, LLC's health coaching agree to the following responsibilities:

Provide accurate information to enable tailored coaching.
Acknowledge that coaching results may vary and are not guaranteed.
Notify the coach of any necessary service modifications or termination.

Additionally, we aim to provide a productive, optimal, and enriching coaching experience by asking participants to adhere to the following guidelines:

Interact respectfully with the health coach (and other participants, if in a group setting).
Attend sessions on time or provide the coach advance notification of any attendance changes.
Engage openly and honestly with the health coach regarding progress, concerns, and queries.
Set realistic expectations based on your unique capabilities.
Actively participate throughout the coaching process, including setting goals and making any efforts towards desired changes.
Acknowledge that making any lifestyle changes may take time and will include engagement in self-reflection.
Adhere to the agreed upon payment terms and service length.

Payments

Payment for health coaching or education services shall be in accordance with the rates, terms, and methods specified at the time of booking. Payment for any services and packages/programs are expected prior to the scheduled coaching service.

Payments made through third-party apps or links (i.e. PayPal, Venmo, Stripe) are subject to the Terms and Conditions listed on their site.

For any ACH Debit card payments or payments sent via bank transfer, please allow 4-5 business days for payment acceptance. No service will begin until funds are completely transferred.

Requesting Refunds:

There are NO Refunds for any service.

However, we understand that emergencies and life circumstances happen. Refunds may only be considered in the event that a client needs to withdraw from or cancel a coaching package (more than one service).

If a Refund is approved, the client will remain responsible for the pro rata share of the program that has been delivered PLUS any chargeback fees.

Refunds are subject to our discretion.

To initiate a refund request, please send a written request to hilary@yourwellnessvision.com within 24 hours from the scheduled session time. Requests should include your full name, contact details, and particulars about the session for which you are seeking a refund. We will assess your request and determine an appropriate resolution.

If a refund is approved, please allow 5-10 business days for processing.

Non-Refundable Services

Refunds will not be granted due to partially completed sessions (e.g. client needs to end early), late arrivals, missed appointments without prior notice (see Cancellation Policy below) and any single-event services. Single-event services that are non-refundable include, but may not be limited to: Pantry Makeover, Smart Shopping, any workshop/ presentation, or group coaching event.

Refunds will not be granted to groups that pay as a whole if a member within the group chooses not to participate or if they leave the group entirely at any time during a service.

Cancellation Policy

In the event that either an individual or group service needs to cancel or reschedule a session, the coach must be made aware in writing no less than 24 hours before the service, except under special circumstances. If the health coach must cancel a session due to unforeseen circumstances, notice will be provided to the individual or group prior to the session and either a refund or rescheduling will be agreed upon.

Modification of Services

Changes may be made to a health coaching session or service in order to accommodate client(s) needs. Any alterations to a service will be communicated between client(s) and coach as well as any implications for future coaching.

Conflict Resolution

Upon agreeing to coaching services, both parties commit to open, respectful communication and cooperation to maintain a positive coaching relationship. In the event of any ineffective disputes between Rediscover Wellness, LLC and the client, both parties may elect to terminate the coaching agreement. Legal action may be pursued if a situation impacts safety, risk of life, or physical harm.

Termination of Services

We reserve the right to terminate our coaching services with any client at our discretion if we believe that continuing the coaching relationship is not in the best interest of either party. Similarly, the client reserves the right to terminate the coaching relationship if, at any time, they deem necessary. Written and advance notice is required as per the signed coaching agreement. Any refunds will be up to the discretion of the coach.

Intellectual Property

All content, materials, and resources provided during coaching remain the property of Rediscover Wellness, LLC and are solely for personal use by the person or client. Reproduction, distribution, or unauthorized use of any materials, including recordings, without written and approved consent is strictly prohibited and subject to legal consequences.

Disclaimer of Liability

Our health coaching services are provided "as is" without any warranties or guarantees of any kind, either expressed or implied. We do not warrant or make any representations regarding the accuracy, completeness, effectiveness, or outcomes of our coaching services. We disclaim all liability for any direct, indirect, incidental, consequential, or special damages that may arise from the use of our coaching services.

To make sure that wellness goals are reasonable, achievable, and safe, it is necessary for the client to provide clear, reliable, and accurate information pertaining to health and capabilities, to the best of the client's knowledge. Clients acknowledge that individual results may vary and that the responsibility for their health decisions lies solely with them. Always seek advice from your healthcare provider before undertaking any new health regimen.

Governing Law and Jurisdiction

These Terms shall be guided by the laws of the State of North Carolina. Any dispute arising from or related to these Terms shall be subject to the exclusive jurisdiction of the courts within the State.

Amendments

We may update these Terms from time to time to reflect changes in our services or for other operational, legal, or regulatory reasons. The updated Terms will be posted on this page with a revised "last updated" date.

Acceptance of Terms

By engaging in our health coaching services, you acknowledge and agree to the Terms of Services listed above and Privacy Policy.
